Away from the games, a Brazilian diver, Ingrid Oliveira, 20, was reported to have kicked out her room-mate from the shared apartment allotted to them in order to allow her have undeterred marathon sex with another Brazilian athlete, Pedro Goncalves.
The development however caused a scene as both athletes have vowed not to compete with each other in the competition.
According to South American media reports, the Brazilian Olympians were said to have enjoyed a night together while kicking out the 17-year-old roommate, Giovanna Pedroso out of the shared space.
Following the drama, the pair finished last in the women’s 10-metre synchronised diving.
