A former CEO of Juventus, Luciano Moggi, has said that as far as he’s concerned, the Italian giants have landed Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo

The Real Madrid striker seems to have grown disillusioned with life at the Spanish capital and Juventus has been on his tail for a few months now.

Moggi who was speaking to Tele7Gold said: “In my opinion, he has already signed and passed the medical examination with Juventus in Munich.

“This is what I think after talking to important people.”

Juventus have a track record of signing older players and getting the best out of them for a few seasons before they leave. They have done this with the likes of Patrice Evra, Dani Alves, Matuidi and Higuain.

It is thought that the Serie A champions have made a bid of €100 million (£88m/$116m) for Ronaldo.

French man and potential club mate Blaise Matuidi has already expressed excitement at the prospect of being joined by the 5-time Champions League winner

“It would be great to have one of the best players in the world with Juventus in the same club that I am.” he said.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal was knocked out of the World Cup by Uruguay but Ronaldo had already notched 4 goals in the competition including an insane hat-trick against Spain.
