2023: I'll make sure my daughter attends Kaduna varsity if elected governor

Senator for Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, Shehu Sani says he will ensure his daughter attends the Kaduna State University if he is elected governor of the state in 2023.

The activist-turned-politician stated this in a tweet on Friday.

Sani, who is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is vying for the 2023 governorship ticket of the party in Kaduna.

He wrote, “If I become the Governor of Kaduna State, my daughter will be in Kaduna State University; It’s not your fault if you doubt or disbelieve me sha; una no de believe anything nowadays.”

Recall that incumbent Governor, Nasir El-Rufai enrolled his toddler son, Abubakar, in a public primary school in Kaduna in September 2019.

However, he withdrew the pupil few months later, saying that bandits were targeting him for abduction.

Also, photos circulated today of the governor’s son’s graduation from a university in the United Kingdom, drawing reactions from many Nigerians.
