Police in Kano have successfully recovered 13 bombs left in a mosque in Kano by suspected Boko Haram operatives.
The tragedy was averted after a 13 year old boy saw the men he suspected to be Boko Haram members loitering around the mosque and alerted authorities.
KAno State Police spokesman, Musa Majiya, said, “The bomb targeting worshippers was placed inside a Toyota Tercel car near a Mosque in Sauna Pfanuga area of Nasarawa Local Government, Kano metropolis.”
He disclosed further that members of the anti-bomb squad defused the bombs and took the car to Police headquarters fro further analysis.
