VIDEO: Sanwo-Olu’s delegation pays condolence visit to Mohbad’s parents

A high-powered Lagos State Government delegation has paid a condolence visit to the parents of late musician, Mohbad.

Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat led the delegation which also comprised Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, Commissioner for Youth, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, Commisioner for Information, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, Special Adviser on Tourism, Mr. Idris Aregbe.

Earlier today, The Herald reported that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had invited the Department of State Services (DSS) to join the police to unravel the truth behind the 27-year-old musician’s death.

Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat shared a video of Tuesday’s condolence visit via X, formerly known as Twitter.

Gawat said that the delegation was received by Mohbad’s mother.

“The Deputy Governor once again assured the family that Justice will be done on this matter and that the DSS will join the police for a thorough investigation.

“The Deputy Governor also announced the Government will assist the family and that Mohbad’s child will be well taken care of,” Gawat said.
