Popular American actor Will Smith would be appearing in a new movie as Dr Bennet Omalu a Nigerian – American doctor in a new movie titled Concussion.

The film from Sony Pictures tells the real-life story of forensic neuropathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu, who discovered a link between American football injuries and early-onset dementia that could lead to death. He became at odds with the NFL after diagnosing football players, including Dave Duerson (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and Andre Waters (Richard T. Jones), with CTE — a brain condition caused by repeated head trauma.

Set to be released on Christmas Day December 25, 2015, the movie was written and directed by Peter Landesman, also stars Luke Wilson, Alec Baldwin, Albert Brooks and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
