The race for the presidency in the 2019 general election got a bit keener on Friday after former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke declared his ambition.
According to reports, Duke declared his presidential ambition in an appearance at the annual Law dinner of the University of Nigeria.
Duke is credited with transforming Cross River into a major tourist destination in Nigeria.
The ex-governor, who said he had yet to decide on choice of party platform, added that Nigeria needed the kind of virile leadership that he could provide.
