The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of Barr. Inusa Mohammed as Principal Secretary to the National Chairman Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff.
Also approved was the appointment of Chief Uche Nnaji as the Political Adviser to Sheriff.
A statement by the national secretary of the party, Professor Adewale Oladipo, said the PDP also approved the appointment of Senator Saidu Umar Kumo as Special Adviser on National Assembly Relations and Senator Ighoyota Amori (JP) as Special Adviser, Reconciliation and Conflict Management.
The appointments, the statement pointed out, took immediate effect.
These appointments come at a time of crisis for the party, given that some members have formed a new coalition .
