In December 2019, the actress was assaulted by suspected assassins and reportedly endured 12 gunshot wounds to her head while returning home from a performance. This terrifying incident propelled her to prioritize her safety and walk with security personnel, despite the associated challenges and expenses.
Angela Okorie’s revelation came in the aftermath of the tragic passing of popular singer, Mohbad. The late artist had been subject to repeated harassment and assaults allegedly orchestrated by individuals connected to his former label boss, Naira Marley.
