I Assure Youths, Women Job Opportunities When I Become President – Atiku

With the political class in Adamawa State getting set for fresh elections to vote in a new governor, the politicians use every available means to sell their points. In the bid to woo voters to their sides, the political arena has been awashed with tales of promises and the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar is not left out.
He led the governorship campaign team of the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bindow Umaru Jibrilla, in Toungo and used the opportunity to assure the youths and womenfolk that 50 per cent of appointments and job opportunities would be reserved  for them to ensure they contribute to the development and growth of the nation if voted in as president next year.

The former VP solicited for votes for the APC gubernatorial candidate, Senator Bindow Umaru Jibrilla, in the October 11 rerun election to enable him deliver the dividends of democracy to Adamawa people.

He said the APC government would ensure holistic approach to the transformation of the country as well as human capital, infrastructural and socio-economic development, where every Nigerian  will have access to  social amenities. Abubakar also assured Nigerians of rule of law, social and food security, which have eluded them ever since the PDP-led state and Federal Government came on board.

According to him, the youths in the country have not been well carried along by the PDP led government, promising to change the trend if given the APC presidential ticket when elected the president of Nigeria next year.

“Nigerian youths and women are critical to the socio-conomic growth and development and growth of the country. We are assuring them of important place in appointments and job opportunities” he said

Also speaking at the campaign ground, the APC gubernatorial candidate, Senator Bindow Umaru Jibrilla promised equity, fairness and respect to the positive criticism of his government if voted in as the Adamawa electorate.

  • I believe you can Atiku, With your contributions to creation of jobs not only in your region and in Nigeria but also across some African countries has shown that if given the mandate to lead the nation that you will do a great job because you have shown that you believe in the youths and women of this great nation and will do all to make their future better.

  • You have done it before and you will surely do it again Atiku Abubakar youths are the pillars of any generation and women are the foundations of any society, we are sure that by the time you get to the seat of power come 2015.
