“I forgot my work plan at Government House” – Ngige promises rapid development

All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Senator Chris Ngige has said he would want to return to Government House due to his abrupt departure and the inability to deliver on key democracy dividends he promised the people of Anambra State.

The APC candidate disclosed this on Monday during a meeting with the Anambra Peoples Assembly in Enugu.

“I forgot my work plan at the Government House and that’s what I want to go back and collect,” Ngige said.

He counted some of his achievements during the brief tenure as free maternal health service and free malaria treatment, payment of teachers and pensioners, and restoration of free movement amongst others.

“We revolutionised road construction. It’s not true that we did asphalt only in Idemili, we also did roads in every other part of the state. The present government has collected over N2trillon, with nothing to show for it. I met only N38 in the purse but left N12. 8 billion in the coffers.”
