Veteran Nigerian entertainer Charly Boy has expressed strong disapproval of Minister Hannatu Musawa’s recent visit to ailing actor Zack Orji in a social media post. Charly Boy accused the minister of seeking attention and questioned the relevance of such visits in the face of pressing national issues.
The outspoken entertainer emphasized that Nigeria is currently grappling with more significant challenges than Orji’s health, citing the soaring prices of petrol and the escalating cost of living. Charly Boy, in his post on X, dismissed the attention given to the actor’s situation and suggested that if there is a genuine desire to help, taking Orji abroad for medical treatment might be a more effective approach.
He acknowledged Zack Orji’s respected status as a Nigerian icon and recognized his contributions. However, Charly Boy contended that focusing on individual health matters should not divert attention from larger systemic issues affecting the nation. He concluded by bluntly stating that the national hospital is akin to a mortuary, implying a lack of confidence in the local healthcare system.
