Marginal Increase in Demand Leads to 0.30% ASI Gain

The slide of All Share Index of the Nigerian Stock Exchange ended today as the bourse gained 0.30% on the back of a marginal increase in demand. The ASI closed at 28,221.75 basis points, with the Market Capitalization closing at N9.69 trillion.

The total value of transactions reduced by 44.81% from the N5.09 Billion worth of shares traded yesterday. The number of deals recorded reduced by 4.9% from 4,673 deals recorded yesterday, while the volume of transactions recorded declined by 31.12% down from 483,741,490 shares traded yesterday.

ZENITHBK, UBA, SKYEBANK, FBNH and GUARANTY were the most actively traded stock on the exchange today, with a combined total of 205 million shares traded.

Market breadth closed in the negative as GUINNESS led 20 Gainers against 31 Losers.

Year-To-Date stands at -18.75%
