Popular Nigerian singer, John Ighodaro, widely known as Johnny Drille, took to Instagram on Thursday evening to share the joyous news of the birth of his daughter, Amaris. The revelation was met with excitement from fans and well-wishers eager to congratulate the artist on this new chapter in his life.
Born on November 17, Amaris is now six weeks old, and Johnny Drille expressed the profound emotions that accompanied holding his daughter for the first time. In a heartfelt Instagram post, he conveyed the miraculous nature of fatherhood, emphasizing the sense of purpose he feels in protecting and nurturing his newborn.
The singer shared his sentiments, stating, “Six weeks ago today, we held in our arms our daughter for the first time. It’s hard to explain but it’s the most miraculous thing I’ve ever known. Never felt a greater sense of purpose to protect and to nurture. Every day I pray to God to help me be the best father for our daughter, so help me God.”
Johnny Drille tied the knot with music executive Rima Tahini on July 4th earlier this year. Tahini serves as the Director of Artiste and Repertoire (A&R) at Mavin Records, the record label to which Drille is signed.
