Popular Nigerian singer and dancer Korra Obidi has been the victim of a shocking assault in the United Kingdom. On Thursday, April 11th, Obidi took to her Instagram page to reveal she had been attacked with a knife and acid while live-streaming.
The divorced mother of two described the attacker as a black woman approximately five feet tall.
“Currently in an ambulance to the hospital, there was a knife, acid attack on me in the UK in the middle of a live stream,” Obidi wrote on her Instagram story. “There’s been a lot of hate in the past but this physical assault is a wake up call.“
Obidi also included a call to action, urging anyone with information about the attacker to come forward. “If you have any information as to the attacker, black female. 5 foot. please forward to [email protected],” she wrote.
