Renowned rapper, Oladipupo Oladimeji, better known as Oladips, has opened up about his disappointment regarding the widespread disbelief surrounding his reported “death and resurrection.” In an exclusive interview with Hip TV, the artist shed light on the misconceptions that arose after his management announced his demise on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
The news of Oladips’ supposed passing sent shockwaves through the music industry, prompting an outpouring of condolences from fans and fellow artists alike. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when it was revealed that the rapper was, in fact, still alive, leading to speculation that his “death” was a hoax.

“I came back to life to see all the chaos and disbelief. But what can I do? What has happened has happened,” Oladips remarked during the interview. “How many people can I sit with and explain to? Because, obviously, a lot of people still think my death is a prank.”

“Every time I tried to explain that it was a near-death experience and not a prank, people always show disbelief. But those who are close to me know that I died and resurrected,” Oladips asserted, underscoring the seriousness of his encounter.
