Peter Obi mourns late Prophet Olowere

Presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has mourned the death of Prophet Michael Olowere, a renowned evangelist and founder of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Agbara, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Popularly known as “Baba Automatic,” the prophet died on Wednesday evening at his Asi residence, Ibadan.

Reacting in a statement he personally signed on Thursday, Peter Obi said, “I have just received the news of the death of Prophet Michael Olowere, a renowned evangelist and founder of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Agbara.

“He was a very respected minister of the gospel at Christ Apostolic Church. He contributed greatly to missionary and societal growth.

“His many decades of evangelism were very impactful in Oyo State and beyond.

“I commiserate with his immediate family and Christ Apostolic Church over his demise.

“May God grant him eternal rest and comfort all who mourn him.”
