Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, has come under fire for a message he posted on social media site, Twitter, which many saw as disrespectful
Adesina tweeted “Merry Christmas to all, including the wailing wailers.”
The term wailing wailers is used as a form of insult for those who oppose the President’s plans and policies, especially those in the opposition party.
After his tweet, many Nigerians lambasted him, saying his job is to speak the mind of the President, and that he may have been recovering from Christmas Eve enjoyment.
