Department of State Services (DSS) has released Bakare and 2 other Protesters who took to the streets to lament the perceived maladministration of President Muhammadu Buhari in Osogbo on Wednesday.

The protest was staged to mark one year commemoration of #RevolutionNow movement which was launched on Aug 4, 2019 by Omoyele Sowore to criticise President Buhari’s governance.

However, Alfred Adegoke, legal counsel for the protesters has confirmed  their release.

Three persons were made to sign an undertaking before the security agency released them to their parents, which was part of conditions for their freedom.

The agency was forced to change the conditions of release for Olawale Bakare whose parents are not in the country.

Some of the persons released include Samuel Olowolafe, Gift Erukpe and Martins Jesuloni.
