The President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki will reveal the names on the ministerial nominees list sent to him by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, October 6.

This was made known late Wednesday evening by his spokesperson, Yusuph Olaniyonu who stated that the unveiling of the list will take place on the floor of the Red chamber exactly a week after its submission.

According to Olaniyonu, “The list was submitted in a sealed envelope by Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari and Senator Ita Enang, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Legislative Matters (Senate).

“Dr. Saraki has, following the tradition of the Senate, decided to open the envelope and read out the names out to his colleagues on Tuesday, October 6, during the plenary sitting of the Upper legislative chamber.”

There have been endless permutations among many Nigerians concerning the names of the individuals that will make the cut, as most cannot wait to get it done with.

President Buhari had promised to compile his list of ministerial nominees to be sent to the Senate for approval before the end of September.
