Nigerian-American musician, Davido has reacted to the infamous Alabama brawl, a large brawl that broke out on a Montgomery, Alabama riverfront on Sunday.

Videos of the incident that circulated on social media show some white men ganging up against and beating a lone black man before some other black men came to his rescue, leading to a free-for-all.

Bystanders said that the incident began when a worker tried to clear the dock along the Alabama River so the Harriott II Riverboat could dock.

A group of rowdy boaters, who are white, were said to have refused to move their pontoon and attacked the dock worker, who is black, when he untied the boat to make way for the Harriott II.

“That guy in the white shirt … he got off our ship to go over there to move that black pontoon boat on his own,” says a woman filming the clip from the Harriott II Riverboat

“Because those guys who parked there were told not to leave it there — and they left it there. So he’s just pushing it off,” she says.

“Took matters into his own hands. I love it.”

The Montgomery Police Department said on Monday that there are currently four active warrants and more could be issued after authorities review more footage. Police said Sunday that several people were detained and charges are pending.

Reacting to the incident on Tuesday, Davido tweeted, “Bruh that fight video too funny everybody just Dey blow the opposite color 😂.”
