Tinubu heads to France for ‘private visit’

President Bola Tinubu will today depart Abuja for Paris, France, for a private visit.

Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale disclosed this in a Wednesday statement.

Ngelale said that the president would return to the country in the first week of February.

Today’s visit would be Tinubu’s third to France since he assumed office on May 31, 2023.

The Nigerian president was in the European nation on June 20, 2023, spending four days, during which he attended the Paris Summit for the New Global Financial Pact.

In September 2023, he was in France for five days after attending the  78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States.
