A young lady has got beaten up badly after insulting an old lady she thought would let the matter slide.
Footage circulating on social media shows the incident occurred in one of America’s black neighbourhoods.
In the 48-second video, the young lady can be heard telling the old lady to “shut up” before casually walking away.
The old lady was however not willing to let the matter slide as she runs after her.
After catching up to the young lady beside an iron perimeter fence, the old lady holds on to and begins to rain blows on her.

As the blows come down hard, the old lady can be heard warning her victim not to run her mouth if she can’t back it up with action.
Unable to take it anymore, the young lady bursts into tears.
