The President of the United States of America Donald Trump was booed by spectators as he made the opening speech of the college football national championships at Atlanta stadium on Monday.
The match was between the University of Alabama and the University of Georgia, initially the fans had been left in the rain as the stadium was locked down for Trump’s arrival.
The crowd had booed as Trump’s convoy arrived at the stadium and again during the opening ceremony shaking up the President and causing him to forget the words to the national anthem.
Josh Dawsey of the Washington Post tweeted “Trump was both cheered and booed as he strode to midfield for the national anthem.
It sounded like mainly cheers. Trump stood stoic at midfield, hand over heart, mouthing words.”
