The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has reviewed the appointment of Special Assistants on Political Units from 28,000 to 50,000.
Special Assistant on Media to the Governor, Kelvin Ebiri disclosed this in a Thursday statement.
He said that the appointments took immediate effect.
Recall that the appointment of the 28,000 was announced in a Wednesday statement.
However, the statement failed to specify what the job of a special assistant for polling units entails.
