Buhari Is the Cause of Terrorism In Nigeria – Fasehun

The National Chairman of the Unity Party of Nigeria, Dr. Frederick Fasehun, has told Nigerians that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, is not the saviour Nigeria has been waiting for and also the cause of terrorism in Nigeria.

He made these comments while speaking to journalists on Thursday at Okota, Lagos State, Fasehun said: “General Buhari has often been painted as the Messiah Nigerians have been waiting for.

“This is turning truth and logic on the head.

“For the avoidance of doubt, General Muhammadu Buhari is not the saviour Nigeria has been waiting for.

“The truth is that under Buhari’s holier-than-thou facade lurks a smelly throat of evil.”

Fasehun noted that Nigerians should not forgive and forget people who deliberately scripted the misfortune of their own nation.

His words: “The problem of Nigeria is not our politics but the fact that we forget too soon.

“We feel the pain of our flagellation just at the time we are being floored.

“Afterward, we go about as if nothing has happened in our history.

“Today, Nigeria staggers under a weight of insurgency and terrorism that is very alien to our ethnic and national character.

“And we have some do-or-die politicians to thank for this.

“Insurgency and terrorism descended on Nigerians in the wake of the 2011 elections, after politicians of a particular coloration swore to make the country ‘ungovernable’ should they lose the polls.

“When Nigerians massively rejected these politicians at the polls, these bad losers made good their threats and unleashed the dogs of war through the North-Eastern part of the country.

“Since then, Nigeria has become one massive killing field with an internally-displaced population of over three million.

“Shall we cow before those who have brought this tragic and catastrophic atmosphere upon us and reward them with the presidency?”

Fasehun insisted that instead of standing for election, Buhari should in fact be standing trial before the International Court of Justice for crimes against humanity over the killing of thousands of Nigerians in the ongoing insurgency and terrorism allegedly instigated by him and his supporters.

  • Baba must you talk or address press? Boko Haram has been there since year 2000 and it has not been addrrssed up till now. By the way who created OPC that killed and destroy illegally? Can you quantify the number of Nigerians that was killed by OPC? Remember, whoever will come to equity must come with clean hands

  • Fasehun epitomises how fast someone can go deranged. He smears the ideologies we know him for because of porridge from Jonanathans govt. It’s a shâme. It has shown that it’s not about education that makes a man but how strong re his personal conviction. Ganiyu Adams is a better man than our medical doctor turn Jonathan begger

  • Fasehun has said it all. And that is the truth. It requires great amount of folly to numb one’s mind against these facts. I praise the callus courage of those who support Buhari.

  • The one who made the ’emergency’ statement is Lawal Kaita, a pdp member . And Mr. Fasheun taking about amnesia you should be the one in jail, we haven’t forgotten the carnage you and Fasheun inflicted on lagosians. It’s unfortunate our president has been recruiting criminals in the name of politics. From Asari to Tompolo and Alameseigha, Mohammed Abacha to Alimodu Sheriff, the Ogun state drug baron to Fayose. One advantage of GMB losing elections thrice is that Nigerian have been able to closely study him for 12 years, so stop wasting your time throwing mud that won’t stick.

  • Baba may your days be long! The kids that rubbish the sayings of th elderly will never become an elder! You’ve spoken well sir. Nigerians forget history so fast! If not for bold porke like you what would have happened to the entire yoruba race! Let the gullible rever their gullibility!
