The Honourable Councillor representing Ward 16, Okpe Local Government Area, Delta State was reported to have been attacked by unknown gunmen.
According to a social media user, Adibor Freedom, the councillor was shot at on Friday.
The incident was reported to have occurred at Effurun Round about.
