The police in Kaduna State on Friday invited for questioning a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Malam Nasir el-Rufai.
It was gathered that other chieftains of the APC were also invited along with el-Rufai for questioning. The others include Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi and Lawal Samaila Yakawada.
Hunkuyi is the senatorial candidate of the APC for Kaduna North Senatorial District and chairman of the campaign council of the APC in the state.
Yakawada, who was Secretary to the Kaduna State Government in the administration of late Patrick Yakowa, is also a senior member of the APC campaign council.
Samuel Aruwan, spokesman of the APC campaign council, who disclosed this development, said they were invited by the hierarchy of the Criminal Investigation Department.
