The Presidency has been allocated N33 billion in the 2014 Appropriation. Out of the sum N12.8 billion will go towards personnel costs, whilst N12.2 billion will go to overheads and the remaining sum of N8.9 billion is to be expended on overheads.
N162.5 billion is allocated for Refreshments and meals for the State House whilst Vice President Namadi Sambo will spend N23.9 million on foodstuffs and catering supplies and N10.8 million on refreshment and meals.
N122.9m was allocated for fuel and lubricants.
Honorarium and sitting allowance were allocated N320m, whilst medical expenses are to gulp N29.4m, welfare package is to gulp N267.8 million and sporting activities will cost N15 million.
The Vice President will spend a whopping N80 million on pens, papers and other office stationery.
N2.46 billion has been allocated for local and international travels of the President. N2.4 billion was allocated to the Presidency whilst N66 billion was provided for the Vice President.
